Battle.Net (Mobile): Reimagined

WHY REIMAGINE
BATTLE.NET (MOBILE)?

Blizzard has amazing games and applications, and I pretty much have played or used all of them. One application though I realized I never really used was the (Mobile) version of Battle.Net. The reason being is that it had no use for me, unlike the desktop version of it which had more features. I then thought to myself, why not see if other people shared my same feelings in the matter. I went on Survey Monkey and conducted a 10 question survey that I sent out through multiple social media platforms. 37 people responded and these were the top findings…

MORE FEATURES.

One thing that stood out to me in the results is that the users like using the desktop apps features. The top features were:

  • Shopping

  • Social

  • Blizzard Forums & News

With this information, I decided to re-design the Battle.Net application with the preferred features mentioned above.

NOW THE DESIGNS.

I went away from the traditional blue color scheme the app originally had, and went with a brilliant eye catching green design that is more user friendly. The application focuses on the user’s favorited features on the desktop application and transfer it to mobile.
